CBSE Compartment Exam Starting Today: Exam Day Guide and Other Details

The Central Board for Secondary Education (CBSE) will conduct the Compartment Examination from today. Candidates who have passed the exam can download the admission card from the official website at cbse.gov.in. The class 10 compartment exam will take place from today until August 29th and the class 12 compartment exam will take place on August 23rd.

Important instructions to be strictly followed by the candidates when taking the exam:

Candidates will bring their own hand sanitizer in a clear bottle.

Candidates will cover their nose, mouth and nose with a mask.

Applicants will adhere to social distancing standards.

Parents will guide their ward(s) on the precautions to take to prevent the spread of Covid-19.

Parents will make sure their ward is not sick.

All instructions issued while appearing at the examination centers will be strictly

respected by the candidates.

Applicants will follow all instructions given on the admission card.

The duration of each exam will be that indicated in the date sheet and admission card.

A reading time of 15 minutes will be granted to the students to read the questionnaire.

Students should visit the official website at cbse.gov.in

Click on the “Pariksha Sangam Portal”.

After that, students should click on “Schools” and then on “Pre-Exam Activities”.

Click on the link ‘Admit Card, Center Material for Comptt Exam 2022’

Enter your credentials and log in.

Meanwhile, more than 21.09 lakh regular candidates had registered for the class 10 exam this year, of which 20.93 lakh appeared there.

The number of applicants scoring above 95% increased by more than 7,000, with 64,908 students falling into the bracket. Likewise, the number of students scoring between 90 and 95 percent increased by more than 36,000 from 2,00,962 last year. A total of 2,36,993 candidates obtained between 90 and 95% this year.

The number of children with special needs who scored above 95% is 63, while 290 students in the category scored above 90%. In CBSE-affiliated schools overseas, 97.29% of students passed Class 10.

Additionally, this year, the overall pass percentage for the Class 12 CBSE exam has increased by over 9% with an increase in the number of candidates scoring over 90 and 95 pc compared to pre-pandemic academic sessions.

This year, the success rate is 92.71% with 33,432 candidates having obtained a score above 90% and 1,34,797 above 95%.
