Northwestern University Talent Development Center: Northwestern University College Summer Camps Talent Development Center

Description: CTD is a place where learners in grades 3-12 come together to explore their interests. Through assessment, academic enrichment, and accelerated course options, students discover what they really enjoy learning and how to reach their full potential.

Church of the Redeemer United Methodist Preschool: Summer Program

Ages Served: 3-5

Dates/times: 06/06-08/19; full day (6+ hours)

Description: Our preschool offers a summer program to continue the learning of preschoolers, with developmentally appropriate activities planned by trained and experienced teachers. A babysitting service is available for campers.

Cost: $60 per week and more, depending on the number of days and the duration of the days of attendance

Columbus Academy: Summer Experience

Ages served: 3 to 18 years old

Dates/Times: 6/7-8/5; full day (6+ hours)

Description: Summer Experience 2022 offers a summer of endless possibilities. We offer co-ed day camp programs in Academics, Arts & Sciences, and Athletics for K-12. You can choose from nine weekly sessions from June 7 to August 5. Come explore our 231-acre campus for a fun and safe summer of learning.

Columbus Department of Recreation and Parks: Summer Camps

Ages Served: 6-17

Dates/times: 06/06-08/19; full day (6+ hours)

Description: A variety of week-long day camps are offered to pique any camper’s interest, including center camps, therapeutic recreation, outdoor recreation, sports, drama, art, robotics and ceramics.

Cost: $50 to $200 per session

Franklin Park Conservatory and Botanical Gardens: Summer Camps

Ages served: 3 to 8 years old

Dates/Times: June to July; full day (6+ hours)

Description: Nature is the touchstone of the conservatory’s summer camp programs. From growing and harvesting a garden to creating a culinary masterpiece, summer camp at Franklin Park is anything but expected. In addition to themed activities, campers will explore the conservatory and its many gardens, including the Scotts Miracle-Gro Foundation Children’s Garden. Features include a stream, wetland, canopy walk, nature art studio, playhouse and more.

The Learning Academy: Learning Adventures

Meadow Park Children’s Center: summer camp for school-aged children

Ages served: 5 to 11 years old

Description: We are a full day camp that offers experiences covering all areas of learning, movement and activity. We offer experienced staff, a large classroom, full-size gym, field trips and snacks.

Cost: $133 to $270 per week

Ohio University at Lancaster: Kids in College

Ages Served: 9-14

Description: This summer enrichment program for highly motivated students includes lessons in subjects such as health care exploration, math, history, Japanese, computer science, dance, sports and learning. ‘art.

Cost: $85 per course plus lab fees, if applicable

Paulette’s Princess Parties: Whether the Shoe Fits Beauty Pageants, Performing Arts and Pixie Dust

Ages served: 4 to 13 years old

Dates/times: to be determined; half day (2-5 hours)

Description: This is a beginner’s camp for kids to dip their toes into the world of entertainment and the performing arts. We will sing, dance and practice public speaking, modeling and acting. Students will gain the confidence to enter the Cinderella Scholarship Competition, ready to perform on stage as authentically as possible while learning to serve others.

Red Oak Community School: ROCS Summer Camp

Description: Our camps stimulate and encourage children’s innate curiosity with a mix of structured activities and free play aligned with each week’s camp theme. Our ROCS educators emphasize children’s social and emotional skills while cultivating an inclusive, affirming, and welcoming culture.

The Wellington School: Wellington Summer Program

Description: The Wellington Summer Program offers full day and half day programs for learners ages 4-12. From cooking lessons to chess camp; cheerleading to engineering; drones for dancing; from urban planning to the performing arts, everyone can discover something new.
