EXPLANATORY GUIDE: How to save your 2FA on the Blockchain in 3 easy steps

First, you need to download the app from Play Store (Android) Where AppStore (iOS).

Here’s what it looks like on the first page.

After that, the next 3 steps are quite simple and straightforward.

Step 1 – Create a Wallet

First, the app will ask you to select an EVM or REEF blockchain. In this case, select ‘REEF.’

From there, select a name for your wallet under the ‘Wallet Last name‘ text zone.

Also as part of the first step, you will be asked to copy the mnemonic phrase found there, which you must store safely as it is crucial to recovering your account.

Next, Check on the consent statement at the very bottom and click on ‘Continue.’

Step 2 – Confirm your mnemonic phrase

In the second step, you will be asked to confirm the mnemonic phrase to secure your wallet.

You are supposed to enter the 2nd, 5th and 9th word. After that select “Continue” to the next step

Step 3 – Add PIN

Now you need to enter and confirm a PIN that you will always use to enter and access the app.

That’s it!

You can now use the app to save your 2FA secrets which you can use when logging into new websites.
