Family fun at the museum

The Museums of Western Michigan is thrilled to welcome families for spring break fun. Check out the Air Zoo, Grand Rapids Public Museum, Grand Rapids Children’s Museum, Gilmore Automotive Museum, Lakeshore Museum, Holland Museum and more. All of these great museums offer something special to celebrate spring!


Frederik Meijer Gardens Butterflies are blooming

The butterflies are officially in the gardens until April 30. Families can explore 60 different butterfly species as they navigate the gardens. Butterflies from Asia, Africa and Central and South America will again take flight in the warm and lush environment of the Lena Meijer Tropical Conservatory. Family movies

Head to any Celebration Cinema this weekend to enjoy their family movie series Flicks. This weekend, families can enjoy the movie, Sing 2. Kids under twelve can enjoy the movie completely free, and all others are only five dollars. This fun movie will have the whole family laughing. Check out this affordable fun anytime this weekend. Twilight Tours at John Ball Zoo

The John Ball Zoo offers a fun-filled experience that will allow you and your family to see all of the zoo’s wild creatures in a whole new light. This 1.5-hour experience will include a guided tour of the zoo after sunset. Bring your flashlights and the whole family will embark on a fun adventure. Holland’s last indoor farmers market

If you’re looking for a warmer weekend activity, this is the last covered winter market in the Marketside room at Civic Center Place. Spring Fling at Boulder Ridge
