Game Day Guide | Tigers host Falcons in draw

Midweek rugby returns to Mattioli Woods Welford Road as Leicester Tigers host Newcastle Falcons in the Premiership Rugby Cup this Wednesday (7pm). Our Matchday guide includes all the information you need to make the most of the evening.

This game is included in all Tigers season tickets, but please note that ALL supporters will be accommodated at the Yodel Stand or the Breedon Stand Terrace. If you have subscriptions in another area, contact the ticket office to arrange a transfer to a similar category seat.

Match tickets are also available. Book online, call 0116 319 8888 (option 2) or go to the box office on match day. Please allow time to find your turnstile and position yourself in the stadium before kick-off.

All junior season tickets (including family tickets) are automatically replaced with adult tickets for evening games so you can bring your friends or family if you think kick-off is too late for the young fans.

If you have any problems with your season ticket or booking a match ticket, call the ticket office before the day of the match on 0116 319 8888 (option 2).

Entrance to the stadium

Allow plenty of time to get to the match before the 7:00 p.m. kick-off and check your ticket to locate the correct turnstile before attempting to enter. Have your season ticket, match ticket, printable ticket or smartphone ticket handy for easy access.

The club encourages fans not to bring bags into the stadium to minimize delays and contact due to turnstile searches.

Follow the signage and instructions from the stewards in the areas closest to the teams at the Breedon Stand and help us protect the well-being of players, officials and supporters by reducing congestion in the tunnel area before and after the match.

Using the Tigers app, you can send photos and messages for the big screens courtesy of club partner Yodel. Simply open the Leicester Tigers app, click ‘Upload Photo’ and select ‘Widescreen’ to submit a photo or message and we’ll share some of them throughout the day.

Before kick-off

The Beehive Money Stand main club shop is open all day. The second store in the North Stand is also open on match days and there are Matchday Essentials stalls around the stadium.

Subscription holders get a discount on in-store purchases. Supporters can use any credit on their Tigers account to make in-store purchases.

Listen to a Tigers star’s playlist in the stadium as they prepare for kick-off with club partners PPRL PRS.

Travel and parking

Tigers matchday bus services operate on routes from Loughborough, Market Bosworth, Market Harborough and Oakham.

Opening time

The stadium turnstiles are open from 5:15 p.m. in the Yodel stand and 5:30 p.m. in the other areas.

Make payments

The stadium handles cashless payments only, including shops, bars, kiosks and programming booths.

Bars and kiosks

The final whistle in the North Stand is open for early arrivals. The bar on the square is also a good meeting place before the match.

The stadium bars use recycled and recyclable plastic cups. There is no deposit paid or collected for cups, which will hopefully speed up service at checkouts.

To help keep a stadium clean and increase our recycling, Levy Caterers have generously agreed to donate 10 pence to the Leicester Tigers Foundation for every used plastic cup placed in the mixed recycling bins around the stadium. This will raise a significant amount more than the previous arrangement, as the Foundation will receive 10 pence for EVERY CUP YOU USE AND RECYCLE.

The Brooklyn Hotel next to the stadium is now open for accommodation, food and beverage or just to enjoy on game days or any other day. Supporters get a 10% discount on all room and suite bookings, and there are further food and drink discounts when guests stay. To take advantage of this offer, send your request directly to [email protected] and the staff will create the reservation and answer any questions.

Well-being and safety

Please continue to pay close attention to hygiene and disinfection. If a ball is kicked to you during the warm-up or during play, do not return it directly to the players or onto the pitch. Instead, return to the ball boy team or a steward so they can be sanitized.
