BIG PRICE Bella. The Kingman filly that followed a solid AW debut with a solid win at Beverley last time out.

She needs to step up from this, but coach Roger Varian is in good form and she has a lot of potential to improve. She’s expecting a big prize to end up in the scene.

Crystal clear. Cheap buy who was well supported on his Chelmsford debut 14 days ago.

She’s shaping up like going a mile would be ideal and trainer Tom Clover has her rope going fine. She looks capable of hitting the frame if she translates her all-weather form to turf.

DANCE in step. Looked smart on both starts at Sandown so far. She started with an easy first win and left that form far behind in a Listed contest last time out.

She finished strong on 7f so this mile should be ideal and she looks tough to beat.

DUBAI goodbye. Found 5f too sharp on his Beverley debut and looked much better when winning at Ayr on 7f last month.

She dictated ahead there and just dug in more when needed. She will find it harder to implement these tactics today.

FERRARI engines. Did well in the maidens with wins here on his debut by six lengths and then just as easily at Kempton in all weathers.

This saw her launch into this Listed category at Newbury last month where she was far from disgraced in second. She is bred to take advantage of this longer distance and seems to be a danger to her stable mate Dance In The Grass.

Franchise 4

FRANK a flyer. Showed plenty of potential on 7f so far with a close third at Newmarket on debut ahead of back-to-back wins at Chester.

This Frankel filly had nearly seven lengths in hand for the last of those Roodee successes, so she deserves a crack in this endeavor.

HOT Mott. Won her first at Ffos Las on her debut and has won multiple times since in Group 3 company.

She was beaten by a length in the Sweet Solera before falling slightly short of that level at Goodwood 12 days ago. She should see this trip longer and can exceed her chances.

High KAI. Showed a taste for Town Moor by winning easily here on his debut before still looking rather green when fifth in the Sweet Solera at Newmarket last month.

She will improve for this experience and this extra furlong should suit her. She won’t be far.

PROPHET a loss. Bred to stay and she found 7f far too sharp on her Newbury debut in July.

She left that form behind until this distance in her all-weather win at Kempton. It’s a much hotter contest than that, so she has to find a lot more, although booking Tom Marquand is a plus.

NOT Pot. Picked up three wins in the rotation at Salisbury last time out and she sees this distance very well.

Her wins have all come at relatively minor handicaps, so she’ll likely find it much more difficult. Play for a place at best.

The Templegate Council

DANCE IN THE GRASS has too much class.

She has raced twice so far and had a great win at Sandown each time. The second of these was an impressive Listed success when she cleared the final furrow. Going up in distance here can bring more improvement.

Johnston’s teammate Ferrari Queen looks like a threat after a good run at Newbury and she’s another who will enjoy the longer trip.

The franchise has been in flying form around Chester and her toe turn makes her a danger.
