King’s Fall Completion Triumphs

You will need to complete the King’s Fall raid under certain conditions to claim the title of Kingslayer. Most of these challenges should be familiar to most seasoned raiders, so we’ll consolidate most of these triumphs into one section. Here are all the completion challenges related to this title:

  • Fall of the King: Complete the raid.
  • King’s Ransom: Find the three hidden chests throughout the raid.
    • See our raid guide for chest locations.
  • Court of Jesters: Complete the raid with a full squad of clan mates.
  • Spark of Challenge: Complete King’s Fall with a full squad of Arc subclasses.
  • Sunburn : Complete King’s Fall with a full squad of Solar subclasses.
  • The Abyssal Society: Complete King’s Fall with a full squad of Empty subclasses.
  • Hive Mind: Complete King’s Fall with a full squad of the same class.

If you haven’t completed the King’s Fall Raid yet, check out our King’s Fall Guide for in-depth analyzes of each encounter. As for the elementary Triumphs subclass, you can swap your subclass before the chest appears. As long as everyone on your team does this, it will give your squad credit.

A true king

A true king: Complete the Master level of “King’s Fall”.

The Master variant of King’s Fall is slightly more difficult than the standard version. Every champion type is present, the power requirement is +20 above the Pinnacle cap, and Match Game is enabled. These modifiers seem brutal if you’re new to endgame content, but anyone who has farmed GM Nightfalls shouldn’t be phased by this. No mechanical difference is present and the challenges are not imposed on you.

Your power level will have a major impact on the difficulty of this raid. Try to aim for less than ten levels below the stated power requirement. This will make enemies slightly tougher but far from tanky. After that, coordinate with your fireteam to counter each champion and shield type. We cover specific champions per encounter in our main King’s Fall Guide.

As for specific advice:

  • General tips: Spec for 100 Resilience, use DR mods on your chest armor, and have someone use the Aeon Exotic Gauntlets to spawn heavy ammo in a snap.
    • If you’re having trouble with the adds due to power level differences, use Trinity Ghoul. This weapon hits fodder enemies in contest mode (-25 power).
  • Totems: Bring a healing method and use machine guns. Thunderlord and Legendary MG are fantastic for this part.
  • War Priest: Place your well next to the Warpriest or the left platform. This should significantly reduce how often the Warpriest moves away from you during the DPS phase.
    • You should also use the Nightstalker’s Linear Fusion Rifles and Shadowshot Super to maximize your DPS.
  • Golgorot: Gazebearers should damage pools of light whenever possible to aid the DPS team. At least one DPS player must be a Titan using Ward of Dawn. Refresh light weapons after each pool of light.
    • You can also spawn Elemental Wells from fodder enemies that spawn in the pit, giving you easy access to Font of Might.
  • Girls: Throw a grenade or use a Super while DPSing to take care of adds.
  • Oryx: After a DPS phase, if your team is low on ammo, consider delaying your next DPS phase by only detonating an orb.
    • Essentially pop one orb instead of four. Repeat until you have enough ammo to kill Oryx.

King of Kings

King of Kings: Complete all encounter challenges in the Master level of “King’s Fall”.

King of Kings asks you to complete each turning challenge related to King’s Fall. Static challenges make not count for this Triumph. As the name suggests, Rotating Challenges change with each weekly reset.

  • The grass is always greener: Players who deposit Deathsinger’s Power must switch sides.
    • Kill the opposing Brand Claimer Knight when you are done depositing. Everything else remains unchanged.
  • Sneaky theft: You must redeem the buffs within five seconds of entering the Brand Claimer effect.
    • We recommend having your DPS team meet your Brand Claimer halfway through.
    • This is the most difficult challenge.
  • Wonderful gaze: Gaze holders must jump into a pool of light before their buff is taken.
    • Do this when you have three seconds left on your buff.
  • In construction: You can’t stand on the same plate twice while someone is torn. Once the Torn player grabs a Blightguard piece, you can stand on the plate again.
    • To make sure you don’t fail the challenge, rotate the plate holders clockwise each time a Blightguard piece is picked up.
  • Do not touch: The same person cannot kill Lighteater Knights or Ogres twice throughout the encounter.
    • Plate holders must kill their respective knight and ogre. After each DPS phase, rotate the plate holders clockwise. If something goes wrong, ask a traveler to take his place.
    • The knights that appear on plaques do not count, only light eaters.
