Launch of the Best Estate Agent Guide website

The Best Estate Agents 2023 guide launched online today with the new site allowing consumers to search for the best independently reviewed estate and letting agents in their area.

Agents listed in the guide are ranked in the top 20% in the UK and have been independently assessed through a rigorous three-stage process over a six-month period. All agents were measured on a variety of criteria, using data gathered from over 4,500 sources through a partnership with property market data specialists, TwentyEA.

Working with the organizers of the guide, TwentyEA measured the performance of all sales and rental listings over the evaluation period and scored agents on key metrics including the percentage of new instructions in their patch, the percentage of properties sold or rented, how quickly the properties were sold or rented, lead time, drop rate and percentage of price achieved.

The top performing agencies from this data analysis were then rated on customer service via a web survey, with professional mystery shoppers posing as buyers and tenants, as well as a website rating, which looked at over 50 criteria covering technical factors such as page download speed, mobile responsiveness and number of pages shown in Google search results as well as real estate marketing and customer service.

Sarah Kemp, Director of Events for the EA Masters and Best Estate Agent Guide Awards, said: “The BEAG assessment is the most meticulous and thorough assessment of any estate and lettings agent in the UK. An entry in the Best Realtor Guide is a huge achievement and it was fantastic to see so many agents at The EA Masters event last week collecting their awards in person.

“To make the most of this reward, we encourage agents to purchase a license to promote their success. Additionally, we provide a comprehensive marketing toolkit that includes brand video, logo branding, and quarterly marketing campaigns.

Those who purchase a license will benefit from an enhanced listing on the Best Estate Agent Guide website and OnTheMarket members will additionally benefit from logo marks on their agent profile page.

“This year, licensees will receive the largest support package we have ever created.” said EA Masters founder Peter Knight. “The Marketing Toolkit includes everything agents need to showcase their accomplishments throughout the year and create new opportunities in their local market.”

Licenses can be purchased here and start at £1,400 for a single branch.
