K1 Communion is one of the longest Lost Sectors in Destiny 2. Completing a solo Master or Legend version can be difficult without the proper loadout.

The K1 Communion is one of Destiny 2it is many lost sectors and can prove to be a challenge for unprepared guardians. The activity is part of the Legend and Master rotation, providing an opportunity to earn exclusive Exotic armor. The Lost Sector is full of evasive Fallen enemies and gear is locked, so players should plan accordingly. Communion K1 is located in the Light Anchor region of the Moon destination.

Inside, Guardians will encounter Barrier and Overload champions, both of which should be dealt with as soon as possible. Season 17 players can bring a handgun or pulse rifle to handle the former. The Arbalest Exotic Linear Fusion Rifle is an alternative, as it inherently comes with the Anti-Barrier perk. For Overload Champions, Guardians have the option to bring an SMG, Auto Rifle, or Tracer Rifle. Similar to The Lost Sector of Conflux in Destiny 2, K1 Communion has a Solar Burn that increases Solar damage dealt and received by 50%. It is recommended to bring a powerful Solar Rocket Launcher to quickly take down the agile Fallen. Additionally, some activity enemies will have empty shields.

K1 Communion presents the frustrating Arach-NO! modifier on Legend and Master. This causes Fallen Vandals to spawn a web mine at their feet when defeated. Luckily, the Guardians have a brief moment to shoot and destroy the traps, before they create a Disruption Field. Master difficulty introduces the Famine modifier, greatly reducing ammo drops. Preparing in advance can minimize this effect, by equipping one of the Aeon Gauntlets in Destiny 2. These allow players to generate special ammo by finishing off elite enemies and heavy ammo by finishing off bosses, minibosses, and champions. When ready for each challenge, Guardians must head to the Moon.

Upon entering K1 Communion, players will immediately be bombarded with enemy fire. There will be plenty of Vandals and Dregs, as well as an Overload Champion. Guardians should prioritize this elite enemy, as they are the biggest threat on the left side of the room. On the right, there will be a Barrier Servitor that can shield nearby enemies. Send the target to deactivate the barrier on the door. In the next area, Guardians must prioritize the Overload Champion and quickly take out the Vandals in the back. Players should be careful, as there are still a few champions left before facing the Lost Sector boss in Destiny 2. The final arena is a wide open room, with lots of Fallen scattered throughout. It is advisable to defeat each enemy before fighting the boss, as it is easy to get overwhelmed.

Players aren’t able to complete K1 Communion as quickly as some other Lost Sectors, but the activity can still be cleared fairly easily. Champions and vandals are the biggest threat. Guardians may have limited revives and time, but moving slowly is key for anyone having trouble with this Lost Sector.
