Resident’s guide sent to homes around Salisbury – Salisbury Post

SALISBURY — The City of Salisbury’s “Resident’s Guide” is on its way to homes across the community, offering local residents a chance to learn about all that the city has to offer in 2022 and beyond.

The guide aims to keep the community connected by including information on local board and commission meetings, activities, community events and more.

Additionally, this year’s guide also includes a ‘New Resident Checklist’ for all newcomers to Salisbury. The checklist covers everything from how to register with local utilities to finding out about schools and employers, and everything in between.

Salisbury town center has the guide’s center pages, focusing on events around the vibrant town center area for those who live nearby, while the town’s sustainability initiative includes information on how to keep waste and yards taken care of throughout the community.

Part of the guide focuses on public safety and local law enforcement issues, and there is an overview of Salisbury’s plans under the Looking Forward 2040 community plan.

For those who haven’t yet received their copy in the mail, the guide is also available online at
